Gee, I'm also currently preparing something in this direction.
I wonder whether the license of Project Gutenberg is acceptable?

Myself, I don't really think it is acceptable.
But the rights on the work itself have expired in my country (Germany)
which is also the authors country. They are also expired in the US.
So it seems it would be legal to strip all references to Project Gutenberg
away. But I don't feel confident with this. I would like to give credit,
where credit it due...
A different question, but related to this: is there a size-limitation for
media files?
