I have a script using screen which previously was working, but after upgrade
to 5.0.0, now causes a buffer overflow.

The command sequence is as follows:

> screen -dmS dash
screen -S dash -X stuff "cd ~/Code/go/src/github.com/albeec13/dashhandler/
go run *.go
"

This was previously working, but now results in this output:
>*** buffer overflow detected ***: terminated
Aborted (core dumped)

As a test, I reduced the string further, and found that even this crashes:
>screen -S dash -X stuff "ls"
*** buffer overflow detected ***: terminated
Aborted (core dumped)

This is on an up-to-date Arch linux system running the latest screen package
from upstream 5.0.0.
