Hi Santhosh,

Thanks your mail. The transliteration tool is extremely useful tool to read and sing songs, shlokas and prayers in different Indian scripts.
  1. The following transliteration tool could be improved by allowing special characters and retaining the original formatting, while transliterating.
  2. Users should able to copy and paste into the input window and the transliterated text output should retain the original format.
  3. For larger documents, users should be able to upload original documents in one script and download the document in the desired script.
  4. Urdu script should be added to this list.
  5. Is there any way to incorporate AI and Machine Learning in the Transliteration tool?
  6. This excellent tool should be popularised more among classical musicians and Bollywood singers.
Please let me your thoughts on this and share your contact phone number. Again, thanks for your excellent services in the development of digital tools for Indian languages.

Hi,
Thanks for reaching out. We are happy to work with you. libindic libraries were in active development many years back, but not recently. There are some good algrithms and utilities in it, but require some maintenance updates. We also need to expand its features and address some usecase. Perhaps the best way is to file bugs, improve code and add new features at https://github.com/libindic/ ?
Do you have any specific project in mind?
