Hello, Now I've written the patch to support different register layouts. At the moment it only supports the timers, watchdoga and eeprom and the only register definitions available (up to now) are for the ATMega16. But the support for the other functions and devices will come soon. Adding register layouts for other devices is not difficult so anybody should be able to do this. (->see bitpos.h / .c) Another new thing introduced by this patch is support for all 8bit timers. At the moment this are Timer0 and Timer2. Patch summary: 1. variable register layout 2. timer2 support 3. a lot of new FIXMEs 4. a test program for the new timer functions Hermann
