anybody running spamass-milter on openbsd 2.7?

I've got 3 sendmail + libmilter + spamassassin-milter running on openbsd
boxes, communicating with SpamAssassin on RH Linux boxes.  All three openbsd
boxes have problems keeping the milter running, and perhaps the milter is
just having lots of problems in general.  I get lots of errors like this:

reject=451 4.7.1 Please try again later
Sep 16 10:26:06 bco-mailgate spamass-milter[32323]: error. could not replace
body.

Anybody have any ideas why the milter is having such a hard time? (or is it
due to openbsd problems? sendmail?)
