There is a script on www.peregrinehw.com that checks for milter errors and
restarts the SA and the milter if you have to many errors.  Run it from the
crontab every 10 minutes.

That assumes you are receiving "milter to error state" errors.

Running spamass-milter on Sendmail 8.12.9 based on RedHat running 
kernel version 2.4.  

On the test server that we have this running on, I am finding that 
the milter process freezes.  Suggestions?  Answers?
