Orca Trouble with speech-dispatcher

Hello Hermann, from what you write the problem is not between Orca and
Speech Dispatcher, but between Speech Dispatcher and espeak output
module.  Are you able to reproduce this?   Could you please send us your
/etc/speech-dispatcher/speechd.conf and
/etc/speech-dispatcher/modules/espeak-generic.conf
