I recently installed the nightly snapshot of speechd and am having
trouble maintaining a connection to festival. Here are the debug
outputs from both speech-dispatcher and festival server.
Speech-dispatcher
[Thu Mar 22 14:18:56 2007 : 420845] speechd: Initializing output module
festival with binary
/usr/local/lib/speech-dispatcher-modules//sd_festival and configuration
/usr/local/etc/speech-dispatcher/modules//festival.conf
[Thu Mar 22 14:18:56 2007 : 420958] speechd: Output module is logging
to standard error output (stderr)
[Thu Mar 22 14:18:56 2007 : 451126] speechd: Module festival loaded.
[Thu Mar 22 14:18:56 2007 : 530009] speechd: ERROR: Module festival
failed to initialize. Reason:
---------------
Communicating with Festival through a socket. Connect to the Festival
server was successful, but I got disconnected immediately. This is most
likely because of authorization problems. Check the variable
server_access_list in etc/festival.scm and consult documentation for
more information.

SIOD ERROR: unbound variable : speechd-enable-multi-mode
client(1) Thu Mar 22 12:55:24 2007 : disconnected
How can I rectify the problem?
Thanks,
