Speech-dispatcher and yasr?

Hi,
in the Orca wiki, where the use of SD is explained, I saw, that yasr 
works with SD.
On my GRML machine, I've installed yasr, but it works only with the 
Eflite synth via Emacspeak server. On this machine it's not so 
important, because Speakup is installed.
Since there's no Speakup on Ubuntu anymore, I would like to install yasr 
in order to use it with SD as a speech supported screen reader for the 
text console.
Is there a way to set up yasr  with SD?
