Alsa/Pulseaudio conflicts

Hello Hynek and all,

IIRC the reopening in the pulse audio output has been done for matching 
a possible distinct frequency of new samples (speech/sounds icons) using 
pulseaudfio 0.9.6. Using a recent pulseaudio API, this reopening would 
not be necessary any more.

If the change is not too time consuming I could work on it around the 
end of this week, otherwise probably after mid-June :/
