I'm wondering, how does one use speechd-el to read the status line in
Emacs? I mean the area where the line number is given, and wheather
fill-mode is enabled or not. It is probably the mode information but
whenever I press c-e followed by ret, I hear silence. If I use
speakup's review functions, I can tell that I'm currently in text-mode
with auto-fill.
Any ideas?
