More on SD crashes

Hello list,

I have spent some time to reproduce Hermann's problem with espeak/speechd.
here are my results:
1. No problems with a sblive card wich support hardwaremixing
2. reproducable is the problem with a ad1980 based soundcard 
and with a usb headset.

The crash has occured during heavy disk IO.
It seems we have a timing problem.

Another problem is that espeak and ibmtts module couldn't stop output 
fast enough. 
This means two or three espeaks a time if you are navigating quickly through 
menus etc.
