Dear,
I'm not sure whether this is not off topic, but I haven't found a more
apropriate list up to now.
I'd like trying other console screen readers than Speakup. I downloaded
the SBL 3.5.0 sources to give it a try with Speech-dispatcher, but
haven't found any install instructions.
Because I'm not a programmer, I don't know whether it requires some
dependency, what commands should I issue to install it, whether I need
to load kernel modules to make it work, etc. Can you point me in a right
direction for setting it up please?
Another somewhat related question, has any progress occurred on making
the Jupiter Screen Reader by Karl Dahlke work with Speech-dispatcher?
By reading its documentation It appears to be the best console screen
reader available, but I can't confirm this as I don't have a hardware
synth. Check it at www.eklhad.net/linux/jupiter/index.html
Thanks for any answer.
Cleverson
