these all will run speechd as a system service, which means you have to
export SPEECHD_ADDRESS.  Do something like export
SPEECHD_ADDRESS=inet_socket:localhost:6560 then run spd-say.  Where you
doing this before?  I just looked at the details of the SPEECHD_ADDRESS
variable, I wonder why its foo_socket in stead of just unix || tcp ||
other?
