Yes, but this seems to have been fixed with this one:

At least if I run a command similar to the one you wrote in
README.Debian on Mon, 01 Jun 2009 found in this tarball:

echo 'Bonjour, le monde!' | espeak -v mb-fr1 --stdin | mbrola -e
/usr/share/mbrola/fr1/fr1 - -.au | play -t .au -
I do hear "Bonjour, le monde"
I will try to modify the command in espeak-ng-mbrola-generic.conf so it
works here and will let you know the outcome.
