There is no technical relation, but when choosing in the Voices tab of 
the Orca
preferences GUI the espeak-ng synthesizer and, say, the fr language, to 
select
a mbrola voice in the Person drop down list you have to scroll down to the
bottom, dozens of "French (Francs)+<variant>" voices be presented first. I
would like to know how to avoid this. I assume that this is even more 
annoying
for a blind users who hear all these voices before reaching a mbrola one.
