OK, 0.99 builds and the local plugin displays most tags correctly (I'm
investigating those that come out wrong). Attached is a patch to fix all
cases where you use type-punning which will make gcc > 3.0 warn.

These cases need to be fixed as gcc will otherwise possibly generate code
that behaves differently then expected, which is why SUSEs automatic build
system will reject packages with such warnings.

BTW, there should be a way to inhibit the static versions of the plugins
being built. These are useless anyway, so why build them in the first place?
