It would also be helpful to
indicate to students what the relative complexity of each task is
(consider for example, which tasks might be more suitable for students
with no previous experience of GNU Smalltalk) and where they can go
for more information and ask questions...

Here is it, assuming previous experience in Smalltalk (not nececssarily GST):

1) easy

2) easy if you have previous experience in Gtk or OmniBrowser

3) medium

4) medium

5) hard

6) medium

7) easy if you have previous experience in Seaside
