*Announcement for graduate-level short class in agent- and
individual-based modeling*
The Institute of Forest Growth and Forest Computer Sciences of Technical
University Dresden, Germany, is conducting a four-day intensive course
in individual- and agent-based simulation modeling, 8-12 October 2007.
The course will be taught in English at a small town in a national park
near Dresden.
The instructors (including Uta Berger of TU Dresden, Volker Grimm, and
Steve Railsback) are ecologists but the class will be interdisciplinary
and open to MS and PhD students in any field. The class will be small,
so investigate it soon if you are interested.
