[Swarm-Modelling] PostDoc position at Univ. of Michigan -- ABM/IBM of Infection Spread

A Post-Doctoral position in the Center for Advancing Microbial Risk
Assessment is available to work with Drs. James Koopman and Joseph
Eisenberg in the area of infection spread through populations via
environmental intermediates. This work creates a new scientific basis
for epidemic modeling and at the same time supports public health
policy decisions. The candidate will have the opportunity to define
their own unique projects that contribute to the overall project
goals. This position implies a strong collaboration with the Center
for the Study of Complex Systems at the University of Michigan.

Applicants should have strong knowledge about individual and agent
based modeling as well as notions of complex systems dynamics. Ideal
applicants would have a Ph.D in Computer Science, Physics, Theoretical
Ecology or a similar area with special emphasis in modeling. Pay is
determined by standard NIH Post-doc pay schedules. Interested
