Ludo is correct.  The binary version for HP is:

  swarm-1.0.1-parisc-hpux.tar.gz

After unpacking that, change the makefile.conf as noted in the
README.  You do not need to run make whilst in the swarm main
directory for a binary distribution.

Then unpack swarmapps-1.0.0.tar.gz.  Go into one of the app 
directories.  Change the Makefile in there to point to the
newly unpacked binary.  And type make (or gmake).
