My read of the GCC sources is that if your libXpm is in /usr/lib32,
you should be building all the Swarm stuff with -mabi=n32. It sounds
like your libffi compile is o32. Anyway, I think shouldn't be
necessary to use --with-xpmdir unless Xpm is not in a standard
place in some mode of compiler behavior.
I think the problems here are due to trying to cross ABIs.
