What do you get running "tclsh" and then "puts $tcl_version"? Perhaps
there is some vendor modification to the version string.

Wishful thinking.. Sounds like you need to build from source.
I believe the RedHat 7.2 RPMs are for Redhat 7.2, not SuSE.
