I think you need libtool 1.5.x. We upgraded to that for the Darwin support.

Hi all,

Has anybody recently tried to compile Swarm on a Solaris8 machine? I'm working from the sources in CVS and am getting errors during autogen.sh. I'm using autoconf-2.57, automake-1.6.3, and libtool-1.4.3 as I think they are the supported versions. I know that I could probably use the binary packages to get Swarm running but I really want to compile from sources because I need to make changes to the Swarm code.

The errors are not very meaningful:

configure.in:23: /usr/local/bin/m4: ERROR: Reading inserted file: No such file or directory
autom4te: /usr/local/bin/m4 failed with exit status: 1
autoheader: /usr/local/swarm/cvs/bin/autom4te failed with exit status: 1
Running autoconf ...
configure.in:23: /usr/local/bin/m4: ERROR: Reading inserted file: No such file or directory
autom4te: /usr/local/bin/m4 failed with exit status: 1

thanks
Scott
