hi,
i have problems with pdfs created by adobe-indesign if they contain
type-1 fonts. lets take a look to the following pdf, which was created
with the pdf-export option of indesign:
http://hal9000.drehmoment.org/swftools/export.pdf
and the corresponding swf:
http://hal9000.drehmoment.org/swftools/export.swf
as i need the fonts for textsnapshot embedded the swf was created with
the -f option. however, swfstrings export.swf does not find any text.
if i build an indesign pdf via "print option" (this means adobe
distiller-printer), swfstrings will show the text. the print pdf & swf
are here:
http://hal9000.drehmoment.org/swftools/print.pdf
http://hal9000.drehmoment.org/swftools/print.swf
is there a chance to embed the fonts from the export.pdf ?
btw, the font is shown in indesign as Type-1 Font, if I create a
document with True-Type Fonts, the resulting swf from exported pdf is
fine.
i also figured out version 0.6.3 will substitute the fonts, later
versions not. is it possible to get this feature back?
Greetings,
Thomas Rabe.
