Greetings,
I am still trying to convert PDFs with traditional Chinese to swf - and have
a problem only on Linux
Using the latest version (2009-01-06) on a windows machine, it work fine
C:\apps\swftools>pdf2swf -V
pdf2swf - part of swftools 2009-01-05-1927
C:\apps\swftools>pdf2swf exampleTC1.pdf -o exampleTC1.swf
NOTICE processing PDF page 1 (595x842:0:0) (move:0:0)
NOTICE File contains pbm pictures
NOTICE Writing SWF file exampleTC1.swf
However on a Linux machine:
# pdf2swf -V
pdf2swf - part of swftools 2009-01-06-2243
# pdf2swf exampleTC1.pdf -o exampleTC1.swf
NOTICE processing PDF page 1 (595x842:0:0) (move:0:0)
NOTICE File contains pbm pictures
NOTICE Writing SWF file exampleTC1.swf
But the font is not correct
I know the font is PMingLiU, so I add a fontdir param:
pdf2swf --fontdir ./fonts exampleTC1.pdf -o exampleTC1.swf
NOTICE Adding ./fonts to font directories
NOTICE Adding font "./fonts/PMingLiU.ttf".
NOTICE processing PDF page 1 (595x842:0:0) (move:0:0)
NOTICE File contains pbm pictures
NOTICE Writing SWF file exampleTC1.swf
I placed the relevant files on:
http://www.ih-announce.com/
what did I miss?
Thanks and best regards,
Asya
