Arggg. I used the wrong automake version after updating my
Makefile.am. I had to reinstall my system after a HD crash two weeks
ago. And I installed the default debian automake (1.4). But synaptic
needs 1.7 to work. 

So, this is fixed now and I silently exchanged the file on
savannah. Usually I would have made 0.45.1, but I think in this case,
you noticed it quick enought (and the fix was, "run autogen.sh with
automake1.7 and call make dist again" :).
