it would be nice if there was a way through the gui to
deselect packages and ignore them...thank you

thanks for this wishlist item. I added it to the TODO list.
Actually we have some kind of support for this already
(connectiva is using it). it's called reduced view. I'll
have a look and see if it fits our needs.
