[Synaptic-devel] Maintenance Release 0.53.4 is out!

Dear users and developers,

we are glad to announce a maintenance release to the current stable 0.53
branch.

The following issues changed since of version 0.53:

- Added AND/OR mode for the filters

- Updated the manual to reflect version 0.53.4
  (Thanks to Gaetan de Menten)

- Spanish translation of the manual by Francisco Javier F. Serrador

- Minor fixes:
 * Show "no package is selected" in the desc. field
 * Use a icon with a higher resolution for the app 
 * Fixed typos
 * Fixed sections that include a "<" in the name

- New translation:
 * Norwegian by Vidar Braut Haarr

- Updated translations:
 * Portuguese by Andre Luis Lopes
 * Spanish by Francisco Javier F. Serrador
 * Italian translation by Mauro Colorio
 * German by Sebastian Heinlein

Debian packages can be found in the unstable tree of Debian and
hopefully soon in Sarge, too.
