Hello,

I've been trying to build Synaptic 0.53.4 on rh73 with:
popt-1.6.4-7x.18
rpm-4.0.4-7x.18
rpm-devel-4.0.4-7x.18
apt-0.5.15cnc6-0.fdr.11.rh73
apt-devel-0.5.15cnc6-0.fdr.11.rh73

The build proceeds quite well until:
if i386-redhat-linux-g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -I/usr/include/apt-pkg -I/usr/include/rpm -I/usr/include/gtk-2.0 -I/usr/lib/gtk-2.0/include -I/usr/include/atk-1.0 -I/usr/include/pango-1.0 -I/usr/include/Xft2 -I/usr/include/freetype2 -I/usr/X11R6/include -I/usr/include/glib-2.0 -I/usr/lib/glib-2.0/include -I/usr/include/libglade-2.0 -I/usr/include/libxml2 -DSYNAPTICLOCALEDIR=\""/usr//locale"\" -I/usr/include/rpm -O2 -march=i386 -mcpu=i686 -MT rpackage.o -MD -MP -MF ".deps/rpackage.Tpo" -c -o rpackage.o rpackage.cc; \ then mv -f ".deps/rpackage.Tpo" ".deps/rpackage.Po"; else rm -f ".deps/rpackage.Tpo"; exit 1; fi

Should I look for an RPM or APT update ?

Chris
