I agree. I've had a look at the code (sorry I had not before) and the 
areas objected to appear to be self contained.

I'm using:
gcc-2.96-113
gcc-c++-2.96-113

I've had a look for gcc updates for rh73 but have not tracked any down.

Any ideas?
