Details:

Hi,
   currently (at least in Synaptic 0.61ubuntu9) the Edit->Search menu item
allows you to "look in"

-Name
-Description and Name
...
- Provided Packages

I think it would greatly improve usability of Synaptic to add a search
option, next to those already available, for searching among the _files_
provided by the [installed] packages.

I'm able to do almost everything from GUI except for this particular
operation for which I need to use the website:

http://packages.ubuntu.com/
