Hi,
What does File->History do? I have just installed Synaptic on a RaspberyPi running Raspbian-8 (based on Debian Jessie) and nothing is displayed. Is this supposed to show all APT activity or just the activity initiated by Synaptic?
Also, is there a way to reload the current status of installed packages without restarting the application?
