This would not satisfy China, but in a western country it might be
accepted. If the government aims to give parents control over their
offspring, it might agree to let adults identify themselves as adults
by paying with an adults-only Taler.

To do precisely this to each minor would require each minor to have
one and only one account.
So let's distinguish between (1) what the site does to minors and (2)
how you can show you are not a minor. I don't say Taler will help
with (1). I do say it could help with (2).
