Many thanks to Michael Lachmann for his experimental interface with GNU R,
which will also be used when we will write our universal spreadsheet
inside TeXmacs.

I have a silly question: in order to use the programs I have to write
new scripts which call perl with an explicit filename. Using the perl
scripts right away give me a stupid message

        bash: /home/vdhoeven/local/bin/mycas: bad interpreter: No such file or 
directory

Why is that? Why is my file not recognized as a perl script
when the first line is

        #!/usr/bin/perl

Should I put some further options behind it?
