This is the reply I got from the FreeType guys concerning
the recent segmentation fault. It indeed seems to be their fault...
Someone can try TeXmacs-1.0.2.6 with the CVS version of FreeType?

Some memory overwrites have unfortunately slipped into FreeType 2.1.5.
Could you try the current CVS version. 2.1.6 is on its way for release
