I do not really have an opinion about this.

However, according to Joris, the "project" feature is still basically
wrong. So there will probably be no "small improvements" in this field
before the whole thing is teared down and replaced by something better.

Working with projects and inclusions is going to stay hacky for some
time.

That looks like something which can be posted on texmacs-users.

Moreover, I should be adding documentation for typesetter primitives and
variables soon, so the border between user and developper stuff will be
moving to put this kind of customization on the user side.

Currently, I am reviewing the existing documentation and fixing obvious
wrongnesses like out of date or misplaced information.
