You are right. This has to be done better, but I don't know when
I will have time for this. When I have time for the improving
the LaTeX converter, my priority will be to fix Felix Breuer's
remark some time ago.

Exporting images is problematic for two reasons: if the image is
not a postscript image, then it has to be converter. More generally,
if the postscript image has to be generated as a file (due to
the above reason or in the case of inline images), it is not clear
what to do with the file name, and how to handle objects which
represent several physical files.

I think that we do (partially) take care of this in recent versions.
