This problem may not be particular to wintexmacs. Does this behaviour occur under the linux version?

Great!!

The problem is fixed.

Now, theres only a minor glitch that I can detect: the accent
circumflex does not work in math mode. Normally, the accents (grave,
acute, dieresis, circumflex) are dead keys, and in order to obtain a
single ^ you have to type ^ + Space. Right now, this secuence produces
nothing, and there is no way that I can find to make a superscript
with the keyboard (but the menu does work, though).

Please download the latest version and let me know if it fixes the problem.

The problem is that the moment you type an accented character (á, é,
...,), texmacs stops processing some keys, (like Enter, Esc, Backspace, etc.).

I've tested this behaviour in at least two different machines, with
the previous wintexmacs and with the current.

Hello Juan,

Can you please elaborate when you say "unusable". Specific
examples/problems are very helpful.

Thanks,

Hi,

Sorry for insisting, but is there anyone here aware of the fact that
wintexmacs is unusable with spanish (at least) ?.

I'll gladly help to debug/test etc., it's just that I am not that savy
with texmacs code so as to find and fix the problem myself :(

Juan Pablo

Hello all,

Some users have brought to my attention some issues regarding strange
document appearances and Maxima issues under Wintexmacs.
After some investigation, this was due to an outdated installer script
which was being used to compile Wintexmacs.
This issue has been fixed and a new build posted. Please re-download
and install this package.

Thanks,
