The patches affect the C sources, so you will need to recompile the code yourself.

I mainly use binary (deb) versions. I have a compiled texmacs version,
but i don't want to use it that much : too lazy !

Is it possible to enable the patches with theses binary versions ?

Hi,

a maybe stupid question. How do i apply these patches to see the
difference ?
In unix:
Put the files in the same place where you have the directory src where you have the sources of texmacs then do:
patch -p1 <filename

The -p option tells patch how many directories it has to strip from the path.
So, if you put the patch files *in* the directory src you need -p2.
