I'm working on this as I get time. It uses different rendering functions because the rendered text of the link is editable (unlike reference).
I'm probably going to have to have a global variable that when set causes each rendered rep to have an associated pdfmark with it as I don't see another means to tunnel the link target to the point at which the text is rendered.
