Hi Liza,

Thank you for the efforts!

I just tried briefly the nightly build — it appears to me that the default key-binding for “emacs /” to undo doesn’t work anymore.

I remembered raising this issue to Mogan’s dev (https://github.com/XmacsLabs/mogan/issues/1678) before, where their version seems to suffer the same issue. And they told me the root issue is caused by Qt 6 capturing C-/ before TeXmacs.

I’m not sure if there is a way to bypass this.

Best regards,
Joy

Hello everyone,

We have a new nightly build for TeXmacs available at :
https://ftp.texmacs.org/TeXmacs/dev/testing/20240814/ .

What's new ?

 * The Windows version is now 64 bits and uses the latest version of Qt
   6. It now supports wide strings for filename (for example, filename
with Japanese characters). However, high DPI screens (2k and 4k) on
Windows are not well-supported (pixelated characters).
 * The Mac versions are also using Qt6. However, they work only from
   macOS Big Sure.
 * The AppImage still uses Qt5, but we are working on a Qt6 version.
 * These builds use a new fork of Guile, named Guile TeXmacs available
   from svn : svn://svn.savannah.gnu.org/texmacs/trunk/guile-texmacs .
This version supports Windows 64, and Android.
 * We also fixed a lot of bugs !

All your comments are welcome !

Liza
