sorry i misunderstood your message, now i understand, your code automates compiling c sources with MinGW or tcc whichever each c source code wants to compile it. anyway, my problem in conditional compilation is solved.

I see. I misread your question. I thought you wanted to compile some sources with gcc and others with tcc and link them together and control that from within the source files instead of having separate build rules. Nevermind
