Yes. With Tramp 2.4, you'll get
(find-file
"/ssh:address@hidden|sudo:address@hidden:/etc/logcheck/ignore.d.server/local")
=> Host name ‘localhost’ does not match ‘^collab-01\.bbn\.com$’
