Fetching to /tmp messages are all one sees

Just a cosmetic problem: of these messages,

all the user sees are the "Fetching ... to tmp file /tmp/tramp.o7v3GR..."
as they are the ones that stay on the screen 99% longer than the rest.

So when the run is over, uneasy users still need to double check that
the files ended up where they were supposed to.

Sure, after a few such checks he learns to trust that the files were
indeed moved from /tmp to /var/tmp... (Also: there is no message for this
second step too! Either mention both steps, or none, right?)

I'm not sure the best way to solve it.
