Yep, config.* certainly need to be updated. Thanks for the report. Lots more
needs to be done, too.

Unfortunately, I don't think wdiff is actively maintained any longer. Denver
Gingerich and Martin van Gagern were the maintainers in the past, but the last
release was in 2014. A recent bug was reported and Denver replied, but with
the implication that he would not be fixing it (or doing anything else):

I wrote to Denver, Martin, and maintainers@gnu.org last October in the hopes
of at least putting "looking for a new maintainer" notices up, but no
replies.

I wish I could take on maintenance myself, but I just can't :(.
