URL: <http://savannah.nongnu.org/task/?10400> Summary: Notify when queried user goes offline Project: WeeChat Submitted by: rjalves Submitted on: Wed 19 May 2010 07:57:34 PM GMT Category: irc plugin Should Start On: Wed 19 May 2010 12:00:00 AM GMT Should be Finished on: Wed 19 May 2010 12:00:00 AM GMT Priority: 5 - Normal Status: None Privacy: Public Percent Complete: 0% Assigned to: None Originator Name: Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any IRC nick: Unode _______________________________________________________ Details: At the moment there is no visual information of when a user goes offline on private queries. If you are talking with someone and that someone loses connection or goes offline you will only realize so if you try to send a message. You will then see the error "someone: No such nick/channel". If you don't send any message, the other person can go offline and return and you won't be able to notice unless you get that information from somewhere else (like channel parts/joins). This is was tested with weechat 3.0. The request is to add a notification to the private query if/when the user quits. This will be useful for itself but also to prevent sending messages which won't be delivered. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.nongnu.org/task/?10400> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.nongnu.org/
