Hi everyone!
I think it could be a good idea to show the original name of the
MP-maps in the map selection screen, too. At the moment there is the
problem that you have to "cross-translate" if you want to make up a
match with a user that is not using the same language setting you use.
The mapnames varie from translation to translations. I would
aprechiate it to have the original names too. This way it would be
easier to talk about the map you want to play. This could be achived on
several ways. One way would be to have a checkbox with "show original
map name". With this button checked the user would see the english
default instead of the translated map name. Another option could be to
automatically integrate the original names into the tooltip of the map.

But there is also another problem left. In the new mp-lobby the width
for map-selection if fixed. In translations were you need more room
(eg: german) there is not enough room for some mapnames. It would be
good if this was variable, like it was before the re-writing of the
mp-lobby. Then it could also be an option to show the translated
mapname and behind it the untranslated one in brackets (example:
"Zufallskarte (Random Map)").

I hope it is possible to integrate one of these things.
