The code base already exists in wget1 1.x. It is copyrighted by FSF under GPL.
I dont see any problems to take it over to libwget under LGPL, but will ask the
experts at GNU/FSF.
In the worst case, we have to keep that API and code under GPL.
@ChillarAnand What tools are you using to access the WARC archives, e.g. to
extract certain requests/responses ? Currently, libz is used for compression.
Is there any interest in bzip2, lzma/xz, brotli, zstd compression (or anything
else ) ?
