[XForms] Form disappears when moving to other display

Hello,

I'm using a dual monitor setup in MacOS (High Sierra) and use XQuartz as the X-Windows environment.

This is a standard setup in MacOS when you want to use X-Windows applications.

I have an application with multiple forms and I setup my code in such a way that the subforms always open nearby the position of the main form.

Whether it is on monitor 1 or monitor 2 everything seems to be working fine.

But when I move a subform to the other monitor while my application is running, the form disappears when I release the mouse button.

When I click the button that causes the form to become visible, the form appears again near the position of the main form. As it should.

This can be considered as a workaround for the problem.

It is not really an annoying bug, but I want to know if there is a solution for this small problem.

I checked this phenomena on a Linux laptop (Suse Leap 15.1) with dual monitors, and the problem doesn’t appear there.

So I presume it has something to do with XQuartz?

Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?
